The 3D Sensor is a high precision inertial unit which allows the movements of the boat to be measured in real time, and its orientation to be calculated. It provides the magnetic heading of the boat, roll, pitch, accelerations, and speed of rotation. It connects to the HR Processor or Regatta Processor.

Operation

Very good dynamic response and long-term stability (no drift). For each inertial unit, 12 data calibrated in standardized units:

  • 3 accelerations
  • 3 gyration speeds
  • 3 magnetic fields
  • 3 Euler angles (roll, pitch, yaw)

Reduced overall dimensions. Accepts pulse synchronization.
